Water Marble Wednesday: The Girls Behind The Name

The Girls Behind The Name
(Part of Water Marble Wednesday)

What is Polished By Audison? I have a set of twin girls who are 7 years old. Their names are Aubrey and Madison. So the AU comes from Aubrey, and the DISON comes from Madison. They are always wanting to help when it comes to painting my nails so I figured since they are the inspiration behind the name, I would give them their own post.

Aubrey is the smaller of the two and is extremely girly. Headbands, pretty hair ties, playing with dolls. Don't get me wrong, she loves to get dirty. Aubrey's favorite color is Pink.

Madison is the bigger of the two and she is pretty girly herself, always wanting to wear a skirt, no matter the temperature outside. She also loves to get dirty but is very OCD. If she lays a blanket or clothing out, every corner has to be laid flat and perfect. Madison's favorite color is Yellow.

For this post I have 4 water marbles to show you which includes 2 from each of the girls.

The first Water Marble is from Madison.

Madison choose these polishes:

China Glaze-Spontaneous
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Blue Me Away!
Pure Ice-Siren
Wet N Wild Megalast- Darkside of the Blues

Next Marble is from Aubrey.

Aubrey choose these polishes:

Wet N Wild Megalast-Young 'N' Cheeky
Wet N Wild Megalast-On a Trip
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Mellow Yellow
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Coral Reef

Here is Madison's second Water Marble.

Madison choose these polishes:

Pure Ice-Home Run
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Blue Me Away!
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Breezy Blue
Wet N Wild Megalast-Darkside of the Blues

Here is Aubrey's second Water Marble.

Aubrey choose these polishes:

Wet N Wild Shine-Lavender Creme
Wet N Wild Megalast-On a Trip

I hope you've enjoyed this post and getting to know the twins a bit. Next weeks Water Marble post will be on different types of designs.

Comparison: Pure Ice VS Butter London

I was swatching my Pure Ice collection when I came across one that looked familiar. Today's post is a comparison of Pure Ice and Butter London.

First up is a close up of Pure Ice's Private Show

Next is a close up of Butter London's The Black Knight

Honestly the only difference I noticed with the 2 of these is that Butter London is a bit shinier than Pure Ice. I had to use a top coat with Pure Ice.

The last picture I have is a full shot with 2 fingers of Butter London and 2 fingers of Pure Ice.

On my index and middle finger is Butter London's The Black Knight and on my ring and pinkie fingers is Pure Ice's Private Show.

Which of these 2 polishes would you rather have? Compare the prices. Pure Ice is Roughly $2 whereas Butter London is $15. Let me know in the comments below which you would choose.

Water Marble Wednesday

Todays Water Marble Wednesday post is a day late so technically its a Thursday post. lol. Anyways, I have 3 water marbles to share today. I think I literally did about 20 different marbles and these 3 were the only ones that turned out. I've had a bad couple of weeks with marbling. Hopefully next week will be better. Check out the bottom of this post to find out whats up for next weeks post. Its going to be a pretty good one and kinda special to me.

You may have noticed by now that most of my marbles use a lot of Pure Ice and Sally Hansen polishes. Out of the polish brands that I own, these seem to work perfect. Eventually I will try others and see what else works but for now, why change what works. Right? Now onto this weeks marbles.

Polishes used are Pure Ice:
Belle of the Ball
Wild Thing
Playful Princess

I think my pictures have improved lately but every once in a while I get ones like this that have a redish tint to them and I'm not sure how to fix that. Any suggestions?

Polishes Used are Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear:
Mellow Yellow
Razz-Berry
Blue Me Away!

Polishes Used are Pure Ice:
Playful Princess
Flirt Alert
Wild Thing
